Goodnight held him in the kiss, pulled Billy closer against him. He didn't break from it until he feel like he needed to, if only to catch his breath. His fingertips brushed over Billy's cheek, the angle of the bone. He kissed him again.

"Let's not indulge that nonsense of sleeping apart," he murmured quietly, almost a plea.
