Billy drifted more than he slept. He was comforted and content with Goodnight next to him, wrapped around him a bit. When Goodnight started to rouse, Billy came awake all at once, but he didn't move. He stayed there, curled and tangled against Goodnight, a hand smoothing over his chest slowly.
